A nice, fresh minigame. Quite fun. I died on my first attempt when the last Elite Huskarl made it to the relic.

This is an enjoyable minigame. It took me only one try and it was quite easy because of the chokepoints on the field. Another advantage was the rock terrain. I am positive that this can be expanded upon and something very fun would be the product.

I think the idea was not bad. All in all I agree about the chokepoints and bad AI of enemies (i wish i could create AIs). I also think that the 3rd player maybe is not needed.
Perhaps I expand it in the future (perhaps not). If anyone want to expand it, he can feel absolutely free to do it!
Thanks for the congratulations.

"Mystic Envy" is a simple mountaintop defense minigame where the player must prevent the enemy from gaining hold of his relic.
The gameplay was amusing enough with the player needing to focus down the enemies before they reached the relic, microing around to gain optimal position while sometimes dodging onagers or bombard cannons. Still, most of the game can be boiled down to positioning the units behind the rocks so the enemy simply cannot walk through and get stuck. Despite its simplicity I found it an entertaining playthrough. With a lack of attack variety for replayability, not much of a story and lacking map design its a weak 4.
The difficulty seems fairly high at first, with a troublesome huskarl wave while only commanding archers. But there is a big weak point here;the rock pile, which stops and halts crossing units, while setting them to no attack stance. This is way too strong and if the player correctly positions his units the enemy cannot walk through and gets mowed down on autopilot. Only a few waves that bring siege can threaten the player and make him back off, but towards the end the players army is too strong to be threatened anymore and kills anything that approaches. The challenge presented is interesting but too simple in the end.
Its a good try with an interesting concept that needs more fleshing out. I like where the scenario is headed but it needs more attack variety and more choices for the player, or perhaps some more terrain obstacles instead. Some music and sound effects could add pizazz, or a nice story to give some depth and meaning to activities.
Map Design 2
A bland spiral of cliffs with some rocks poorly placed in symmetry, and the abominable egg rocks to make matters worse. There wasn't much in the way of trees and the little terrain mixing wasn't particularly eye pleasing.
Its a very simple set of instructions barely sufficient to avoid the 1.
Final thoughts:Its a decently playable game that could become something more with work.
