Have you been able to run other AI's? I seem to remember that was one of the problems scenario designers were running into on Macs - AI's didn't work. |

I downloaded and checked the file and line 1913 that contains the error is only a ) to close the rule above. I can't see where the error should be.
Maybe the problem is in the zip packing. Have you tried downloading it from anywhere else and sent it to your computer? |

According to CPSB-
ERR3001: Invalid preprocessor directive
The given directive is not one of the following:
#load-if-defined
#load-if-not-defined
#else
#end-if
hope it helps. i know nothing about ai scripting.
Edit:
guess what? i finally can make it work!!
what i did was just pushing the opening ")" on line 1913 back to the end of the line 1912:
BEFORE:
[line1912] (disable-self)
[line1913] ) (defrule
AFTER:
[line1912] (disable-self))
[line1913] (defrule

From reading the author's description, this AI plays best on specific maps and game settings.
You could try asking at the AoKH AI & RM Scripting forum:

Have been tinkiering with The Horde for a while now, and i find two major flaws with it.
1: If I use it as my ally, the "31" taunt, which causes the Horde to tell me it will be coming to my aid, instead causes it to send its large mass of army to the enemy...therefore not doing me any good
2: If I do a huge game...whether it be free for all using only Horde AI and one human (myself), or various team setups, it always ends up that I get attacked, regardless of what my score is..Why don't they attack each other?
Also, not a major flaw, but in bigger matches, The Horde seems to make ridiculous amounts of siege rams, even when i have never built any type of fortress, nor have any other enemies...
If you have any suggestions/comments/answers as to why this is happening, I'd be glad to listen.
Thanks!

1. Taunt 31 "attack an enemy now" - seems logical that it would go and attack the enemy.
2. I think it is the game and not the AI that likes to pick on human players.
You might get a more informed response at the AI scripting forum (link in my previous comment.) |
