List of taunts it reacts to:
3 - 6: Gives resources away if it has enough.
31 - Attack an Enemy: If requested by an AI, it targets player stored by sn-target-player-number.
32 - If 60s < game time < 300s, Horde will pick an aggressive strategy.
33 - If 60s < game time < 300s, Horde will change the strategy to boom.
38 - If 60s < game time < 300s, Horde will sling that human player with resources.
222 - Help Allies. If requested by an AI, it targets player stored in goal 82 and patrol units to point stored in goal 478/479.
222 + Flare by human player - Sends units to the flared point.
230 - If 60s < game time < 300s, it changes strategy to Mush (full monk civs only)
249 - Chats current resource amount to human allies or any computers.
250 - Chats current strategy, chat version number to enemies. |

To use it in multiplayer try the Setupmulti program by scripter64. Too bad multiplayer games caus the ai to spread its army over half the map, just in case you wonder why it does so stupid. :(
Unfortunately there is no help ally function so the best you can do is counter attack and hope for the best. Sometimes it trys to help its allies and usually it tries to attack the enemy close to its allies (at least in 2v2).
Also aiscripts can't protect their siege on purpose so they need more than humans do.
I think attacking human players in team games is preferred the game engine. Even if you set your strategic numbers to attack the player with most points like I did, it doesn't seem to help. In FFA games The Horde will attack the closest enemy, though.
Also I updated the version to 2.14 and any further feedback appreciated. |

I've followed your great AI quite a bit and from what I can tell this is your best update of the past 2-3. Playing vs it myself and watching it vs other AIs it seems definitely improved from 2.14. Keep up the good work! |

Just downloaded 2.15, wow, btw, you should update the last line, it's 2.15 instead of 2.14b.
I gonna test it now with the new IS_TMachine and Chameleon.
I hope it's going to work well with any team/diplomacy setting. |

I faced this AI off against itself and I must say the results were very interesting. I noticed, at first. both teams, player 1 (blue) and player 2 (red) seemed about equal. Until about 20 minutes in when red began to pull away from blue. The map was coastal, difficulty hard, and both teams were random. The scale at which team 2 began to dominate was steadily increasing over time. Blue was demolished within the hour. It was like a pen on a see saw, it moves loads faster whence it's on the ends of the see saw and slowest in the middle.
This AI is a wonderful challenge and is a joy to fight with. |

May I know please, what's the zone rate (although it is an old stuff) for this AI?
I beated it 3 times with 3:0 :-D
no tower, no wall in Alb map, HUNS VS HUNS, hard difficulty.
I asked this question because I want to know my own rate, I start to play this game about 2 months ago. |

Updated to version 2.16
This version trains a navy on mixed and water maps. Booms better on walled maps like arena.

I am glad to hear it is updated again and become powerful in boom.
Maybe it is stupid to fight against it and discuss, because you designed this AI not for against players, but other AIs?
Anyway, I like it very much!! Hopefully this 2.16 can bring me some more challenges.

There are lots of things you can't control as a scripter, but they affect the computer negatively. It lacks any sense of danger. As a result the computer takes every fight even if he could back up and wait for reinforcements.
Also check out DaVe ][ No Limits and VNS_Halen. These scripts flush more human like. |

Yes, that's why I can beat a lot of AIs, but it's so hard for me to win a game against human players.
I know little about scripting, yet I can image how difficult it is to create an human-like AI, you get a lot of things to do! Thus, I always show my best respect and appreciate the hard work those scripters do!!
One most important difference, I think, is that, human player will learn from the games and improve themselves. For an AI, it seems to be an impossible mission. It always take the stratagems that the scripter teached it and do little change. Well, maybe it changed, but I did not know due to the lack of understanding in this game!
One question, is it possible for a scripter to create a learning AI? which means, can learn from the game, and obsort its opponent's stratagems to make its own news ones? |
