The Adventures of Sven Kringla is a single scenario, a FF. The story is fiction, you play the Viking Sven Kringla and your mission is to defeat Yodilodi Lederhosen, probably a Bavarian, as his name means Yodel Leather Breeches.

PLAYABILITY: Your objective is fulfilled in about three minutes and the player has a humorous encounter with a "strange person". 2

BALANCE: The scenario was played on moderate and hard and there was no challenge, not a single reload and impossible to loose. I replayed and deleted the hero; it was still easy to win without any micromanagement. 1

CREATIVITY: It is always creative to surprise and to get a smile. 2

MAP DESIGN: Looks like a random forest map deprived of gold and relics. 3

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: Clear objective and a small story; the hints tell you that Sven Kringla may not die, but you don't loose when you delete him. 2

OVERALL: Less than a Demo.

SUGGESTIONS: Place a trigger to make player 1 loose when the hero dies. The scenario is too short to be real fun, make the enemy stronger, play some higher rated scenarios to get a feeling for the required design tools and work on your map. To start with a random map is fine, but you should add things, like terrain mix, some Gaia etc. until the fact that you used a random map is beyond recognition.

IN CLOSING: D/L if you want to know about the maybe whereabouts of the "strange person" as an alternative to the disclosure of Douglas Adams in his book "Mostly Harmless".
