This is the revised version. There is slightly better terrain, and the things you buy are more interesting; balanced. The Boss is weaker so you have a better chance. You have a little more gold to work with :)

Defend the Road is a defense map, one enemy unit spawns every once in a while. There are 3 stages, after the end of each a boss spawns. Its advisable to buy a life for each boss.

[NOTE: I made the enemies come sooner which means you need to be even quicker ;).]

You can buy ranged units to help kill the enemy, and you can purchase merchants to get more gold from your kills. You can also buy towers and trebuchets for defense and you can buy upgrades, extra lives and other specialties

Playability: 3
Defend the Road is a creative as well as fun minigame. You start with an archer and must kill enemies as the come one by one. As you progress, the enemies units gain more(to many) HP and gain speed. To earn more gold, you can buy merchants and earn gold faster. You can also buy towers and upgrades to defend your road. If an enemy successfully gets to the end of the road you lose a life. Once your out of lives you lose. Seeing as it was fun I'll give this section a 3.

Balance: 2
The game is very challenging as well as impossible to beat(unless you use cheats). I couldn't defeat the first boss as it was so since you sent the game in an scx. format I changed the first boss's HP to make it possible to win. If Appollo810 had made this game beatable it would have been more fun. A 2 in this area.

Creativity: 3
Defend the Road has many creative aspects such as the way you buy towers and the ways to earn money. These were neat and I liked it. Since the creativity isn't outstanding neither boring I'll give this section a 3(average).

Map Design: 1
The main playing are is basically a large square with "Old Stone Heads" forming the roads(leaves). There was no eye-candy other than torches and flags. I understand that this was created for fun and not for looks but Map Designers should take pride in what they create and submit. Since a random map is better than this I give this part a 1.

Story/Instructions: 4
Appoll810 wrote out fairly thorough and clear instructions. If he hadn't done this then this minigame would be much harder seeing as he included many different things. Seeing as this is a minigame there s no need for a story thought if one would have been included this section may have earned a better score. A four for this section.

Additional Comments:
All in all, this is a very challenging scenario(impossible to beat) and if you have some free time on your hands then give this a try.
