My entry to Tanks fst's Totally Terrain contest. Uploaded for the judges, this is now complete and will not be edited unless there is a bug.
This features no story and no fighting, as neither are required in the competition.

I didn't particularly like the stable (those wretched palisade wall ends!) and the mountains in the corner, as they did not seem to be integrated well, but it's still a good map and worth a download.

The Mountains in the corner are just me being random for its own sake. I'm sorry you have a problem with pallisade ends.

Ah, fair enough; that would explain the rest of the stuff in that corner. :P

Yeah, I kind of got bored after all the terrain mixing and thought I'd fill some space with what's basically a joke to Tanks fst. In a map we made together that's currently unreleased, there's a mountain area in the right corner.
Its a tribute to that, as well as me messing with the rules of the competition a bit ;)

"Lumberjack" depicts a woodland scene presumably focused on the life of one Mr Lumberjack, though the player explores with a huskarl. The map had a rustic appearance to it largely centered on a hun in a forest with its nearby lumbercamp. Although the map was very tiny, there were a few points of note to be found, such as a stable, pasture for sheep and a lake overlooked by cliffs. I would have to say the terrain detailing is of a quite simple nature throughout however. The forest had solid looking broken up appearance though i would have liked to see a bit more grass and dirt mixed in. The lake was nice but the use of the tiny brush as so often happens created sharped jagged edges that are quite noticeable. The stable area could have benefited from some bushes and perhaps triggerwork to remove the palisade flags. The map could have benefit from some ambience with sound effects or music, but this was only just catching on by the time the map was released.
In summary a good attempt at a woodlands scene, though a bit on the bland side.
