In this game, you start as someone who just bought a house in the land of Vacotta, a world filled with many resorts. you earn money, get married, and pay rent..
But your dream is to retire young and live in a beautiful mansion. Being a wood cutter wouldn't fulfill that dream fast, though...
So, it is up to you to find a way to earn 40,000 gold and retire. Good Luck!!
-If there are any bugs or glitches, let me know!! Enjoy, and please comment. My first scenario!
-I updated the scenario and fixed some of the stated problems. I also added spice to the terrain. I did not fix story issues as the game is not crucially based on the story. let me know about other problems. thanks!
I was excited seeing a sims titled game. I always wanted to make one myself but never got around to it. However, this one was lacking a lot.
First off, I converted this file to scx and I'm sure it doesn't affect anything.
Have you playtested this? There were some bugs in it and it seems that you would find it with one playthrough...
-At the start, it says I collected 40,000 gold and told me to go to the wonder to win.
-Your quests seems poorly implemented. I talked to the son before hearing the mother and I got the stone. When I first got it, I did not know where it came from. The second one I found was with the wolf. It was tasked to the right and after a bit the game crashed on me.
-You should have made the paths shorter. A lot, and I mean a lot of time is spent walking around.
-Research upgrades does not work if the original unit is not yours. So, the wheelbarrow research you get does not work on your villager. I supposedly had wheelbarrow but I was only allowed to carry 10 wood.
-Your purchasing method is poorly implemented as well because the seller does not repeat his message. I don't think anyone repeats their message.
-The quest with the sinner and the monk was executed poorly. There should have been more to the quest, and more dialogue.
-I think I'm missing some, don't forget that I didn't get to play that long either.
To improve further, you need to spice up the map design. It is very bland. The marriage portion or that part of the story can be improved. It seems unrealistic that you just get married and then get a gift.
What you did well was in creativity, although you could have stretch the creativity a lot farther.
If you can get a copy of the expansion, I'm sure you can make this a lot better.
