Gwyndlegard was a peaceful country until two and a half years ago when it's jealous neighbour to the north-west, Xioché, invaded it with a force of thirty thousand led by the military geniuses Count Tengil and the witch Queen Xaphira. After the peace treaty two years ago, Xioché holds most of Gwyndlegard under occupation, save for the last free city to the east, Pumpkindon, where the country's leader Lord Mezenghi now lives.
In the country's southernmost province, Gwynhill, tension is now growing. A sergeant called Immanuel has long wanted to ambush the local Xiochan governor and start a rebellion, and when said governor takes slaves from Gwynhill village, a clear violation of the peace treaty, he gets his chance. Unfortunately his girlfriend is among the ones taken as slaves so the quest becomes quite personal.
You will take the role as Immanuel and his close friends to criss-cross the country, save your girlfriend Emily and free Gwyndlegard from the evil witch's claws in this humorous epic!
FEATURES:
• A giant map with great variety, from green green forests to open plains and snow-covered mountain tops,
• A mix of playing styles including AI-driven Build & Destroy, stealth mission in RPS and criss-crossing Fixed Force,
• A rather epic scenario that doesn't end after an hour or two,
• 965 triggers, for those who want to know
• Partially spoken dialogue (not self-made though, be thankful for that!),
• Focus on story and gameplay; no mods, data changes or overly complicated trigger tricks,
• An overdose of weird Basse humour!

First off, I would like to say this campaign is amazing! I love it! But, I'm having the same problem that CommandoDude had when he stated...
"I need some help, I'm not sure what to do. When playing the map, the game crashes every time I bring Immanuel to Count Tengil at Sarachrion right as the cutscene starts. It didn't do this the first time, but I had to go back and since then it has kept doing so. I tried reinstalling the game and loading my save point into it but it didn't change anything."
I killed all of the units to the right of Sarachrion and whatnot but when I take Immanuel to talk to Count Tengil, Age of Empires closes and the error message to send an error report comes up. I'm guessing the trigger is what is causing this? Maybe?
My computer only has 512MB's of RAM running Windows XP and it gets laggy when a lot of units are moving and fighting but I don't understand why this is happening.
I also destroyed everything in Sarachrion on accident if that matters. And when I take Immanuel to Count Tengil the sound file "Teng what NOO.mp3" plays but the game still crashes and it seems like it might be the text file that contains what Count Tengil is about to say is crashing...but I'm not sure. But lately every time I try it, the sound file doesn't play anymore. The game just crashes when Immanuel gets close to Count Tengil.
Any help/info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Oh and I am playing Version 1.2 kk
[EDIT]
Okay. So I got bored and went ahead and destroyed the two blue palisade walls to the south east and the mining camp to the west where you go after you recruit your party in the very beginning. And I destroyed all of Sarachrion so all that stands there now is the two invincible walls where the gate used to be to the right where you kill all of the units that spawn there. So pretty much... Count Tengil is the only thing/person there now. But to no avail, as soon as Immanuel gets close to him, the game crashes still. So... I have no clue what to do now... I'm lost...
I figured since the units and stuff changes to your side, I would go ahead and get rid of everything that changes to ally or whatnot so it wouldn't have to do much but it's still crashing... so yeah.. Please HELP!!! thanks...
Oh and when Immanuel gets close... the screen goes dark and it sounds like the text is popping up because it makes that sound but now the sound file is not working. But I'm pretty sure it isn't the sound file because it worked earlier but still crashed...so.. I don't know...[Edited on 09/10/10 @ 08:08 AM]

Hi,
First of all, great scenario, awesome!
But im almost finished and got a few bugs. When immanuel hears the voice in his head and must go to the witch in the town, he changes team, and they fight till immanuel dies and i lose the game. every time. again and again. I finally fixed it by first building a castle smack in the middle of the town and then sending immanuel in and immediately garrisonning him in the castle, so she couldnt attack. Now i have to go to the brothers of spire, and ive already found them, but nothing happens, im talking to them, all heroes there, and all he says is " welcome, got a man amongst your troops who needs discipline? were a man short you see" and thats it. Nothing happens. I tried putting a monk next to him or somthing but nothing happens, the objective stays like that. What am i doing wrong? (i destroyed the capitol, cant cross the last bridge)
Thanks! |
