Each player starts with a scout ship instead of a traditional scout
Each island is balanced in the amount of resources it contains, but space management is something all players will have to work around
Players 3, 4, and 5 are all close together (close enough for artilley bombardments) whereas players 1 and 2 are separated by the island chain
Each cliff island only has 1 entrance and one location for dockbuilding so navy buildup will be slow
The island on the far right side of the map is unihabited by man and rich in resources
