Like everything else I've submitted, this unit was made specially for my Romanian Campaign I'm working on. It's just a modified Berserker made to look like a slavic axeman. I had to draw the head myself, it didn't come out too bad, though I know it's not the best.
Additional Comments: this mod is pretty good and the frames are okay but the texture is abit
scribbly/Painted it looks like something you would draw from Paint. you copied the actions from the Beserker, but thats okay it looks brillant, the Axeman truly looks like a Northeastern European Slavic/Russian or Norse.
but the Texture could improve a little bit, but since everything else is wonderful i would of given you a 4.8 but i can't.

(The movement of the axeman is smooth and has no flaws, the graphic does not differ from original ES work in quality, at least not at first glance)
The Light Axeman is as if the illustrations from my children's history books on Bulgarian History have come to life. He is a perfect incarnation of the myth about what Slavs supposevly should have looked like. The reality as always is more boring, Prokop who first describes the Slavs, says they are neither really blond, nor black, but overall ruddy (and ever since noone knew if he ment redhaired or with a ruddy skin). This vague quote has been abused to create an image of the "Arian Slav", but I don't blame the maker of this wonderful slps for running into the trap. This work needs no improvement in my opinion, for the graphics in Age of Empires are generally obviously made in paint and this one does not really stick out as worse, but the flair is great, it brings up memories from basic-school history-lessons...
