Murder in the Sleeping Town, a warcraft 3 custom map.

How to play:
1 person is randomly dubbed the killer and everyone else is a prey. The killer is a villager that can go invisible by mining POREX mines that are scattered all over the map. The killer's role is to hunt for all the survivors/prey under the cloak of darkness and pick them off 1 by 1. If you are a survivor, you must group together with other survivors and kill the murderer. 1v1 the killer should always win (due to faster attack speed) so make sure to group up and stay in aggressive stance to sniff out the killer when he is invisible. Both prey and killer kill each other in 1 hit so it's a battle of the reflexes. Read the map hints for tips on how to win. The killer wins if he kills every prey 3 times, or the prey when when the killer is killed 5 times.

Map Settings:
Every player player is celts for a movement bonus (japanease doesnt give any advantage at all, i've tested it)
don't set any teams
teams unlocked
no starting resources
no vision
dark age

I tried to make this map as something new and different from the norm of multiplayer maps (cbas and bloods) and a lot of people enjoyed it when I hosted it on voobly to beta test. I hope you enjoy it too!

Gallas Simple aoe2 secret mechanism, with great idea, nice job!


But... maybe a murderer chooser should be good, and perhaps fix the map lagging, with 4 players its okay, but with 8 its unplayable:/

Thanks for the input Gallas, I stride to make my maps a little more interesting than the norm AOK maps. I plan on remaking this map one day to have less lag and additional features, but who knows when that'll be :p
I52_Lada Hi, Nixck. I love your scenario, I play it a lot, so I decided to fix the bug when p1 should be defeated but remains alive (when prey), I thought that by simple changing ownership of hidden units it will be fixed. But it seems to me that the defeat trigger is not working at all (end p1 not killer). Unfortunately I cant read the hidden resource that is hidden in its condition, so its kinda hard, I may try to remake all of the triggers leading to this one condition, hmm, it would help if I knew what the resource is . . . I am also working on two hunter version, I have already functional version, only problems with victory conditions.
