A new and improved version of my Health Potion Trick scenario that i posted a couple weeks ago. I always hated how in all rpgs you have to move a seperate unit in an unrelated area to cast a spell or equip an item. In this scenario I will first show a unit that has a spellbook with 3 spells in it (check the map screenshot). The first spell freezes all nearby enemies, second spell heals your unit for a big amount, and the last gives a temporary attack bonus. The second unit has an inventory with equipment. There are two buttons on him, one that will either equip his sword (+attack) or his armor (+health). This can be very useful for rpgs or other types of maps.

I used a different, better method, for healing then in my health potion trick map. How I did it in this map is to tribute player +1000 heal rate and +1000 heal range (you need s_t_c's aokts addon to do this) and to detect projectile, create monk/missionary and task to hero then delete. The advantage of this method for healing is that it doesn't deselect your unit, doesn't heal all at once (like when you drink a potion in diablo 2) and you can heal the unit to maximum hp without having to know their maximum hp.

If you understand how the Double Negative Effect works then I shouldn't have to explain how the triggers and what not in this map work.

Blueway Mate i will try to implement your knowege in my scenario. But i have a question. Are the triggers working in multyplayer? (Like increasing monk regeneration, range, applying your tricks).

As far as i know they should work. I haven't tried heal range or rate in multiplayer games but i've tested a map i made that does a lot of tributing "good" "c.score" "ruin" and etc and it works like a charm.

rumor is though, +build rate or aegis or whatever it's called in aokts makes multiplayer games go out of sync.

but yes, the inextinguishable inventory in units does work in multiplayer but I haven't done alot of testing with it.

Blueway I failed because i couldn't downloade the extensin for scenario editor (the one which would let me drop arrows)

Good luck with your descovery and perhaps you'll make a rpg or something...

Really? my genied works fine and is english, if you want i can send you mine. and thanks! I actually am working on an rpg right now but it'll take a long time because my computer keeps overheating or freezing when i edit in aok.
fenix42 Hey this is pretty neat.

Anyone know where I can get s_t_c's aokts addon? The link on the thread you provided no longer works.

I didn't notice the link was broken, thanks! I updated the link in the opening post to a trigger studio with s_t_c's addon for you to download. Note the new conditions, effects, accumulate attribute, and send tributes, it's worth it to use all the time :)

Note to Blueways previous question, tributing of heal range and rate DO work in multiplayer, cheers.
