King ThudWick had been ruling over Metaria for many years. He was a great king but he started losing the faith of his people. So therefore he decided to take control of the ancient relics and win the people over. He chose his most trusted commander, Commander Griffaut for this task. Ride along with him and pillage the Yuke tribes, fight with the formidable General Victor, and recover the ancient relics.
Thanks to Zanzard Lothar for Immobile Units AI without which the scenario would be incomplete.
If you find any bugs, please comment!! I'll try to update as soon as i can!! |

I dont understand??......none of those happened when i tested the scenario!.....5 of the relics can be found insode the wonder, the other one is in a monastery in the Yuke camps.....I have given plenty of history, instructions, hints, scouts etc...
I have tested this many times and so far all the results were positive......okay....i may have forgotten to update it .... |

when i played it 4 relics could be found in the wonder and when i destroyed the yukes monastary, they said "So they had a relic too" but no relic appeared.
about the instructions, the story was well as i said, but just a hint, dialoges are always better with the display instructions trigger. If you use the send chat trigger it will hardly be noticed.
Try getting some stuff out of here, it helped me alot!

I have viewed the triggers, and i can see that you create the relics with triggers. It doesn´t appear when a unit blocks the spawning point (by just standing where the relic should be created).
I give you a tip, for the yukes monastary, put a relic next of it, then make a trigger what tasks a yukes monk to the relic, then a trigger that tasks the monk to the monastary (of course with a timer, or a "capture object" condition).
When the relic is inside the monastary it appears when the monastary is destroyed, and there is no chance that it can be blocked.
Some other Tips about upgrading the scenario:
1. Use more GAIA objects.
2. When the messenger brings the message, the troops should not yet be controllable by the player. Change ownership to player 1 as soon as the message is delivered.
3. Is the king really so evil to just kill an innocent messanger? Let the messenger escape, or be imprisoned. To make him escape, set a trigger to bring object to area - object = messenger - area = outside the kings city. The effect is changing diplomacy.
4. By the yuke camp in the dead forest, "A poisoned dart hits Commander Griffaut in the shoulder" . That should only happen when Commander Griffaut is there. Lots of players leave the hero home, to lower the chance he gets killed.
5. Add some more units in the yukes camps, they are far to easy to kill. Also some enemys in the way could be good. Perhaps patroling? The messenger could get into trouble too, but don´t make it to hard to get him to the king.
Hope this helps, Good luck! :) |
