Neither Windows Media Player, QuickTime, or the game was able to play the file on my computer for some reason.
I assume the file allows you to replace the existing intro video with this uncut version. It is the same as this video, right?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rS_n3JVTPE |

This is the uncut version of the game intro for Age of Kings, about a minute longer and more epic than the one found in the actual game. As this was made by ES it's of very high quality and a very interesting piece of trivia for AoK fans. The only negative is that the video is rather low quality, so you're going to see a lot of pixels in it, especially if you try to watch it in full screen. Plays without problems in VLC Media Player. |

It worked fine on Windows Media Player on my computer. Leif, do you have the latest version of it?
An interesting find, thanks for sharing. Nostalgic to say the least. |

Thanks for the review Basse! I used a very bad download program to download it from the video leif posted, so thats why the pixels are there. Ill try to get a better one soon, and then update it with the high quality version. |

How did you get this video? Did you download it from youtube?
Because it seems that the original file from the alpha is about 80mb, and seems to be of slightly better quality. |
