THE DUEL SCENE
BY DRACONIAN DEVIL
This map file has a good duel scene
between...wallace and theodor..
There are majorly two cutscenes..
one begins the clash of armies..leaving the player
and the enemy hero..to fight each other in a separate room.
The second cutscene..starts when wallace enters the room ...and theodor and wallace taunt each other...and then begins the real battle...so
the hero is obvious to win...
This is just to explain how duel scenes can be made
realistic in AOK:TC
sorry but i was just thinking to give people
a rough idea of how to make a duel scene
also i take back my words of calling it a good
and its true that i have not taken any effort
in making this scenario
The sole purpose of this file is to give players
a rough idea how a duel scene can be designed

I also think it's misleading, and also a lack of modesty to call anything you release "good" before receiving actual feedback from somebody. I don't like to be negative, but this is not a good duel scene by any standard.
The gameplay is not studied at all, and it poses absolutely no challenge. You can go to meet your opponent, right click him and then go to the bathroom. By the time you will come back, you've won. William Wallace obviously overpowers Theodoric the Goth, and there is no effort made to balance that. You've tried to do the little "lose ownership" trick, but it's too short (only lasts 1 second) and it doesn't help the adversary at all. Also, there is no context for it. Why is wallace paralysed for one second? He is astonished by theodoric's beauty? Make something up, it's easy.
Also, after he died, Theodoric was laughably still taunting Wallace with stuff like "prepare to die".
I can only advise you to try to be more responsible when you release something and call it "good".

Most battles are more than just taunts, there are always things that over power the enemy, and you have to find a way to tackle that.

DD, my feedback might seem to be overly harsh, and if you were a newbie i wouldn't be so negative, but in all honesty, you can do a lot better than this and you know it. Even if it's a utility and not a full scenario/campaign, it doesn't mean people are to expect less from it.
The idea of the utility is not bad, a well made duel example could indeed be useful. Keep in mind, nobody stops you from using the "update" option.
The idea of your opponent using taunts during the fight is good, but then you should make sure that it lasts longer, and spice it up with other stuff. First of all, like Mayank said, make sure that the opponent has some sort of advantage against you in the beginning. One of the main pleasures one derives from winning a fight like this is the overcoming of great odds. Then, you can try to make the "paralysis" thing, but make sure you put it into context (the other guy could set a spell on you or something).
hope this advice is useful and I'm sure you can improve your file. You could work on the map design a little too. After all it's a very small visible map, and you could make it look very good without too much effort.
