Legend has it that Erkenia, a great kingdom of ancient times, ruled by King Franragorn, was invaded by the monsters of the shadow, Erkenia had suffered great defeats, until he had only one fortress, the king and his last warriors fought there, you decide their fate ...
Last Stand of Erkenia is a scenario where the player uses a fixed force to defend a small fortress from an onslaught of "shadow monsters". As Mashek said, it is possibly a decent way to kill a quarter of an hour, but it's not something you can expect bags of fun from. I'd advise using a different AI for the enemy; I got to a point where I could pick them off with my archers as they hung around outside, with only a few peeling off to come and attack me.
The first time I played, my forces got overwhelmed, the second time I won easily as I had a feel for the upgrade system, and knew when to push forward and pull back my troops. Balance wasn't totally out of whack, but there's room for improvement.
This sort of scenario is dime-a-dozen; not that that makes it uncreative in itself, but there was nothing to make this one stand out from the rest. The Tower of the Last Stand was a nice idea, but it could have been executed better.
Map Design: 1
No eye candy or terrain mixing, and the castle barely looked worth defending. Please, read some tutorials and have a look at some examples of good map design.
The instructions fail to specify an objective. The story seemed to have been written in five minutes.
