This was supposed to be my entry for AoKH Cinematic Scenario Contest 2010, until an unknown bug completely destroyed it when it was so darn close to completion. Fortunately, the earlier version of the scenario still existed, and now I decided to upload it to Projects section, just so you guys know I'm still dreaming of completing the project.
Nothing much to see here, certainly, just a few preliminary scenes and a few music/sound files. Download only when you have time and bandwidth to kill.

This was a rather enjoyable cinematic Andan. You have set the characters up well, and the build-up to the story surrounding the sword is managed quite well. One thing is that your style, or rather the text-heavy narration, might be a put-off for many downloaders, who may well just want to see blood being spilled. It's certainly not for everyone, but I liked it and I suppose much like your 'Cherub's Rock' it reminds me of a lot of the old RPGs I used to play such as 'Grandia'. I hope you are able to finish this one day mate. Don't change your style and keep at it.[Edited on 12/05/11 @ 06:02 PM]

For what it is so far, it's very good! Lovely scenery and great atmosphere with the music and forest sounds. Very RPG-esque! ;)
The village looks very desolate though. I'm guessing it's meant to be very early in the morning, but you should probably make that clearer for the final version. Other than that, I can't really find much to critique! |

There's some things here, little things, that I personally haven't seen used anywhere else and they add to the enjoyment of the file, overriding what people often see as the AOK engine limitations. Goes to show that if you're creative enough you can come up with new ways to enhance your scenario, even using the vanilla editor.
the downside is, of course, the abrupt ending. however, what I've seen so far is very inspiring. |

You were right about the abrupt ending. :)
From what's here, it's very well done. Far better than something that I can pull off. I personally did not find it text heavy. It was just right for my enjoyment. Good ideas in here, I like how you left the top left portion black so the dialogues can be read easier. |

Not so much as text heavy as very little else occurring than dialogue. Personally, I enjoyed the cinematic but others may find it less so due to their own tastes. |

Wow, I didn't expect so much positive feedbacks for such a vastly incomplete cinematic, thank you so much, guys!
Regarding the emptiness of the village, it's meant to be crowded with people, which will be included in the full version. Also, the design is not fully finished yet, in case you find it dull looking. ;)
Regarding the text-heaviness and lack of action.. Well, most of you should have known that my works are influenced by story-driven RPGs such as Suikoden, Tales series, Grandia, Star Ocean and so on, which all featured long dialogues in their cut-scenes. I know it drives most people off, but we all know that there are players who press a button repeatedly to skip dialogues, and there are those who read the whole thing to learn deeper about what's going on. Anyway, in the full version, there's going to be quite a lot of action, blood spilling, for the two story perspectives.
Looking forward to finishing this someday. :) |

This was a very good cinematic! It reminds me of the FF series, so I know I'm not gonna be dissapointed! Looking forward to play the actual game, Andan! |

I think you are RPG fan. I realize those picture are Noctis and Stella from final fantasy versus XIII. even their name. and first music is from Legaia 2 Duel saga. |
