Version: The Conquerors
Style: Fixed Force
The North has long been a solid bastion against the Evils of the Burning Hells, its mountain passages lined with fortifications and its Barbarians at the ready to brutally crush all opposition. Times have changed, however, and Baal has slowly destroyed all traces of human civilization on his way to ultimate triumph over the denizens of Sanctuary. You must traverse the frigid, gory, battle-wasteland that holds Harrogath in bondage and separates you from your final confrontation with the Lord of Destruction

Playability: 2
As the player starts with a force that is severely inadequate for the task that he is supposed to achieve, the game is not enjoyable at all.

Balance: 2
As mentioned earlier, the hostile player has been given quite a large army. So large in fact, that the units given to you at the start of the scenario are severely outnumbered. What is supposed to be an epic battle quickly derides into mass slaughter of allied forces by the enemy's onagers and archers.

Creativity: 4
The short opening cutscene showed great promise. The following battle was merely large numbers of units fighting each other. A missed opportunity in my opinion.

Map Design: 3
The map design was decent. The action all took place in the lower right corner of the map, thus there was no need for the author to use the majority of the map. A smaller mapsize may have been adequate as well.

Story/Instructions: 3
Though no backstory was given, I recognized a few names from the videogame Diablo II. Oddly enough those characters do not seem to correspond with the characters in this scenario. The objectives were clear, yet lacking proper spelling.

Additional Comments:
Overall this scenario seems unfinished, unbalanced and not fun to play. I quite enjoyed the opening cutscene, but the game disappointed afterwards. I sincerely hope the author will use this review to reflect on his work and improve it where needed.
