Turtle Pack, a game data editing software package of AOE1, AOE2 and Star Wars, was called SLP Editor before.
it includes 3 tools, as follow:
DRS Editor -- can be used for modifying the game data file
SLP Editor --can be used for modifying the game images
Animation Preview --can be used to do visual evaluating specially for SLP images
This is a well-designed software, you will feel like using it for its convenience.

About the Language:
The default language of Turtle Pack is English. You can check in the languages
folder to see if your preferred language is available - if yes, copy the language.lg
to the main directory and replace the original one; if not, you may used notepad or
other text editor to edit and translate the language.lg you are your language.
When modifying language.lg, remember to keep the original texts in the same lines.

Please note, the terrain of the SLP use a different algorithm to generate the data, the same time, SLP Editor Only in "split and merge" functions support to create terrain SLP, so please do not use Menus-> Edit-> New Frame this interface to add terrain frame.

I am planning a mod that will involve making the same simple alteration to many (almost all) unit graphics. This alteration can be done by a simple script if I can get inside the source code of the Turtle Pack.

Turtle Pack is a modding program that acts as a solution to Mod Pack Studio, for players on 64 bit operating systems, who cannot install the later program. The program is complication of two popular modding tools that are extremely useful for graphic modder; SLP Editor & DRS Editor. Turtle Pack is alot better than MPS because it is easier to use and alot more up to date. The program also comes with another tool called Animation Previewer, which is useful when designing graphics such as units that require multiple frames to make it animated. This tool helps the modder to see how his animation looks without having to go in game.
Quality/Instructions: 5
The Quality of the program is exceptional. The program is easy to use, and has a simple interface, that is easy to navigate. The program runs fast, and the main highlight is the fact that, unlike Mod Pack Studio, it can run on 64-bit Operating Systems. The readme that comes with the download is clear and tells you how to install and use the program correctly. It is the perfect tool for Graphic Modders
Additional Comments:
The Most Useful Modding tool in AOK History. Note that it doesn't have any use for data modding, that is what AGE is for.

Im not sure others are facing this issue,when I export a unit with the merge and share to one sheet and try to import it back the unit frames come up all messed up.meaning its not correctly dividing the frames this mainly happens to the walking frames for me. |
