Turtle Pack, a game data editing software package of AOE1, AOE2 and Star Wars, was called SLP Editor before.
it includes 3 tools, as follow:
DRS Editor -- can be used for modifying the game data file
SLP Editor --can be used for modifying the game images
Animation Preview --can be used to do visual evaluating specially for SLP images
This is a well-designed software, you will feel like using it for its convenience.

About the Language:
The default language of Turtle Pack is English. You can check in the languages
folder to see if your preferred language is available - if yes, copy the language.lg
to the main directory and replace the original one; if not, you may used notepad or
other text editor to edit and translate the language.lg you are your language.
When modifying language.lg, remember to keep the original texts in the same lines.

Could someone please tell me how to use this. I'm completely lost and the only thing on this entire website that attempts to tell you how to do something is on a program that I can't install because my computer is 64bit. I'm more than a little frustrated. |

Hi,
I'd like to thank you for your work Hawk_Ruralist and Keisari Tapsa. I understand that you want money for your work, espacially from Microsoft (because the release of AoE2HD), but the AoE2 community always was build on sharing, caring and helping each other.
Why not make Turtle Pack open source?
While I have no doubt I could write an slp writer myself, I'd love to not do double work for my next project. If you do not want to open the source, feel free to message me the code (or even only the write slp part) to slpwrite.20.blk_panther@spamgourmet.com
@everyone else: If you can provide code or help with writing it (python for now), leave a message (e-mail, steam, reddit, here, discord - whatever works for you). [I'm quite busy, so the project might take some time, but I do not expect total availableness either]
I hope I have not forgotten to give credit to any other contributor to Turtle Pack (If I did, feel credited, like Trisolo). If I do not respond after a reasonable time, try again [the mail might get spammed and gets deactivated, write to an other spamgourmet alias or try other methods of contact]

turtlepack free to use from begin up to 1.6 now,until same one use it can get money i see.

Hi,
I have had been having a massive problem with modifying graphic 50163 (Conquerors loading screen). I have found that exporting and importing the bitmap from .slp without changes corrupts the image data?
It displays a load of white pixels/lines around the border, and changes the four deco images in each corner to a purple/pink colour. Do you know how I can correct this and what is the cause of it? Do I need to avoid a colour? or a pixel index?
I am also extracting with the 50563 palette to alter the image.
It is a very nice program and thank you for your hard work on this project.

Hello I'm having a frustrating problem I cannot fix, the problem is when I convert a picture into the slp editor all the black most areas change to a dark navy, any ideas on why this happens and how to stop this from happening?
Please someone I would really appreciate the help. |

I found a bug.
I've noticed that if you convert a picture with the bitmap conversion tool all the black areas change to a slighty lighter color.
Can you please fix this problem? |
