This simply contains a data file in which all units (except the Trade Cart, Fishing Boat and Villagers) have been disabled.
Why? To give you a blank-ish template for your own mods.
By the way, I do NOT mean *Disabled* with the genie editor, which makes them impossible to find unless you know their exact data number. Here's how it works:
When you 'research' the dark age (as in start the game), you will automatically perform a research which individually disables each unit.
You can find nearly all the disabled units in the editor as normal, but due to the infastructure I had to actually *Disable* the Militia through to Champion.
However, I made copies called (e.g.) "Copy of Militia 74" at number 866 (basically bottom of units list), and also listed the original numbers in the included readme file
*
The purpose of this mini-mod is for anyone who wants to make new/different units created at the existing buildings (such as myself). Rather than trying to modify or disable every already existing unit yourself, I have done it for you, and yet left them easily avaliable for you to copy and do what you want with.
All researches are still avaliable and retain their functions, e.g. researching Pikeman upgrades spearmen into pikemen, it's just that you can't create any of either.
THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU HAVE THE C PATCH FOR THE CONQUERORS
I will also be uploading a file where I have done the same to all researches as well, for anyone making an even more ambitious mod.
Any questions, leave a comment. Any feedback, leave a review.
Notes:
*This has caused no damage to my computer but I cannot garuntee it will work/be safe with yours
*This is my own work, and I have not seen anyone else do it, but then I haven't really looked
*I'm making my own almost-total-conversion mod and this was a required step, it took a whole day of work, so I've uploaded it to save other people time.
*Thanks go to Keisari Tapsa for general help with data editing

It's a better idea to work with the units that are there. The AI can't train new units. If you replace the existing ones, the AI may still be of some use.
So unless your mod is multiplayer only, working within the AoK system is a good idea.
Of course, you can write an extensive AI for your mod, but the standard AI will no longer work.
