This is my first ever mod and scenario, so see it more as an experiment rather than a good work. Specifically it was an experiment with both Mod Pack Studio (which is required in order to run the file), and triggers in the Scenario Editor.
I apologise for the scenario being pretty awful, and I have to admit I spent much more time on modifying some of the units and buildings, than it took me to create an enjoyable scenario.
The campaign is basically a 10-15 minute long story with Santa Claus, and his friends, and the way he confronts a Village that lost it's faith on the Christmas spirit.
The setting and the story is a bit ridiculous, and that's what I was getting into.
I also apologise for the large size of the file. Those mp3 songs can be pretty large sometimes.
All of the songs used are Christmas carols I found on the Internet. These are the MIDI versions of the songs, turned into MP3. I am not 100% but I think they are free to download.
Again, I have knowledge of the mediocrity of this mod and the campaign (it is my first attempt of creating AOE2 related things, after all), but I would still appreciate some comments and reviews.
Thanks a lot!
Please, I would really appreciate some reviews, or even a simple comment.
Do you at least like the new graphics? I know they aren't great, but I really don't think they are that terrible.
Here is a screenshot:

I'm afraid most users these days do not use MPS as it is not compatible with 64bit operating systems. This might explain the apparent lack of interest from the community.
The incredibly bright colors in the screenshot really stand out. In fact, I'm not entirely sure they fit in nicely with the standard buildings and units.
I recommend paying a visit to our forums and reading some of the posted tutorials.

Can I ask what is the best and most popular mod tool nowadays that is compatible with modern day systems?
I need to keep that in mind if I am going to create other mods. Is it Turtle Pack?
As for the bright colors, I guess you are right, although I decided to give to the units a more cartoony look than the usual one.
That's why units like Santa Claus and the Snowmen feel a little out of place.

Yes, Turtle Pack is arguably the best way to go as far as modding is concerned nowadays. As far as I've seen it's pretty intuitive also.

Well, thanks for the answer. This question might sound stupid, but....do you know what is the output format of files created by the Turtle Pack? I searched in the forum but couldn't find an answer.
I mean MPS's .akx files are useful because they are small in size and allow to be easily uploaded.
Does Turtle Pack have something similar, or do you have to create an entire 80 MB large .drs file?
