I created this scenario because I love history of Europe.
This scenario is a mini map of Europe. It is inspired by the period when Roman Empire was divided into Western and Eastern Roman Empire, and was threatened by Sassanid Empire and barbarians like Huns, Visigoths, etc.
You can play the map from the perspective of Western Roman Empire, Eastern Roman Empire, Huns, Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Franks, Saxons or Persians (Sassanid Empire).
I found it quite dull, as the enemy launches little attacks and the player is very safe and already setup. One reason for the AI weakness is that their bases are crippled so they have a tough time making units;also, it seems to be a straight FFA meaning the human can munch one weak AI after after another.
There was substantial lag right off the bat, probably due to the cramped map causing pathfinding issues.
the player has a deathmatch imperial age fortress with many castles, huge numbers of paladins and ETKs, and can simply beginning trebbing down nearby neighbors. Its a cakewalk.
There is infinite resources on the map, which may be a plus in multiplayer but makes it easier for the player to grind down the AI without fear of consequences or worrying about using up limited assets.
There is little attempt to distinguish this from a random map, and not a single trigger was used in an attempt to add spice. You dont need triggers to get a high score, but you do need to do something to freshen up the game. Any player who has played a 8 player FFA with AI has in essence, already played this map.
Map Design 2
Its a random map quality europe world.
There was nothing whatsoever. The author stated his love of history so i would have liked to see him express this in the game, to both educate and entertain the player.
