So ... I felt like making another random map script (This was my 3rd one).
On this map, all the players start on a large central landmass. In the middle of this landmass is a hill covered with resources (the exact distribution varies). Occasionally there will be a swamp, a lake or a forest instead of the resource hill.
If the fight for the center of the map is too intense for you, you might consider relocating (or fleeing, as the case may be) to one of the islands along the outside. There can be up to 12 of these, although you are unlikely to get all of them all at once. The resources there will generally be less than what you can get in the center, but you might just find an island that has what you need to survive and build up. Sometimes these islands are connected to the main landmass by shallows. Each outside island has a distinct terrain theme, reflected in its terrain type and resources.
To play, put the file into the "Random" folder of your AoC directory. Then choose the following in-game when setting up a match:
Map style - Custom
Location - ZN@Zworld

Version 2 changes the following:
>Cliffs removed and forest density reduced to provide more buildable space
>LudiKRIS support added. Warning: LudiKRIS occasionally crashes on startup because this map has so much stuff in it. I'm still working on fixing this.
