The land is abroil in outrage. Spey, a lonely kingdom set deep within the forests and mountains, is ruled by the iron-fisted tyrant, Lord Aegrist. They fear the Speyans should unite. All forms of organization are constrained by officers of the lord, or disbanded. Should a leader arise to challange him, Aegrist mights just fall.
In his most haneous acts, he kidnaps young maidens from the country. No one quite knows why, but there several dark rumors about the land. Fithel and Aria are two siblings. This is great Gaspar! Challenging, but if it's good then it doesn't matter. Keep up the good work! |

It is April 6th. I should have a bug-free version by May, also including a new bitmap, minor tweaks, better difficulty dynamics, sound effects, and (hopefully) a better review. |

It is July 3rd, and still no update. I've had other things to worry about and haven't gotten around to working on it a lot. The good news is that the Hard difficulty is getting extensive testing, and seems near perfect now. Only a few minor bugs remain, none affecting gameplay, and a new bitmap is underway too. Still, I can't garentee an upload until August at the latest.
Sorry about the delay. |

It is August 22, STILL NO UPDATE!!!
Well, I haven't gotten a lot of time to actually work on this, and the little time I do have for Aok is consumed by another project. Still, there will be some major changes. The first of which are new custom AI's for Aegrist and sounds.
The other big news is that this is to be submitted to the ROID contest, and thus, you can expect an update by Christmas at the latest.
Many apologies to whoever bothers reading this and actually cares when if a final version ever pops up. |

Playability: 5
Fithel is a great siege scenario filled with lots of fun aspects. It has a great story and some great ideas keeping me playing. I was playing for a few hours without getting bored.
Balance: 4
Fithel is a challenging scenario. It is a Fixed Force siege and I found it very hard on Moderate. The enemy were coming at you very quickly and you only have a small number of soldiers. It takes quite a few restarts and a lot of saving but in the end you can complete it. I found it a bit easier when I played on Standard. It is challenging but still possible to complete.
Creativity: 5
The scenario is really creative. There are some really great ideas in it and an awesome story. The map design was great and there were good trigger tricks. I thought that the most creative part of the scenario was the thrilling and great story.
Map Design: 5
The Map design was great. Split up into separate parts by cliffs and filled with elevation. There is great terrain mixing and eye-candy. There is some fantastic uses of GAIA objects, like the Paths used for mud. A beautiful map for a beautiful story.
Story/Instructions: 4
The story of Fithel is great. I loved the creativity of it and how well it was implemented into the scenario. I really enjoyed the story, it kept me on the edge of my seat and it was very interesting. However I found that the Instructions weren’t as clear as they could be. They told you what to do but didn’t help you very much. The Hints page helped a bit more but could still have a bit more detail.
Additional Comments:
A great scenario with a great story. A recommended download.
