The pines wave among the mist remembering times past... times of chaos...
700 years have passed since the tyranny of Romans and Huns on European soil. Most have forgiven or rather forgotten...

But there is one - a roman once betrayed by the empire he loved, now being the murderer of his wife and children... he escapes with only his hatred but it miserably fails to compare to the anguish of Europe and its struggle...

There he found support and as he lead his new army against his homeland...

but failure was inevitable... but would I have believed if someone had told me that he still lives 700years later and that a horrid witchcraft now possesses his very being? I do. For before me lies an arena carved into the ruins of this once great roman city and as the cold pines whisper away I see a legion of Romans burst out of thin air. Frightened. Confused. Horrified. As they look upon his face then towards two opposing armies surrounding them... but these two armies are not there for the Romans, no they are they are there for one another the Romans are merely coaxed from their own time to make the impending bloodshed even more interesting. For I will save my people even if that means killing my once allies for he shaman high king of the world now rules and we play by his rules...

I know that's not how the period was, there was enormous benefit from Roman rule and some tribes worked with the Romans to rise to power.
I was interested in turning the roman ideal on its head, them being the sufferers of a amphitheater made from the bones of their once civilization. In addition I like the idea of medieval armies from across the world battling it out.
