Version: The Conquerors 1.0c
This is a crazy map that I just randomly came up with.
The map is split into 4 sectors: 1 food sector, 2 gold sectors, and 1 stone sector. You have a nomad start, with three villagers in each sector (12 total). If your civilization receives extra villagers, you will get them in the food sector.

The map is divided by large forests which are accessible from all sectors. There is a lake in the center. Not only does it contain fish, but it’s the only way to move forces across the map until you cut through the forests. So it would be well worth securing the lake.

The food sector contains: sheep, boar, deer, forage bushes, and a lake with lots of fish
The gold sectors each contain: gold
The stone sector contains: stone
All sectors contain: one relic, villagers, (and a king if you are playing regicide)

Where will you build your first town center?
Hopefully this map will pose all kinds of interesting gameplay challenges.

To play choose the following when setting up a match:

Map style: Custom

Location: ZN@BestOf4Worlds

About AI compatibility:
Unfortunately, the AIs really don’t like this map very much, so it’s probably best suited for multiplayer.
If you absolutely want to play with AIs, the original AoC AI does better than the new HD Edition AI, which for some reason always deletes it's town centers before it can finish them.
