This my fist attempt to use modding tools
I tried to put the Medieval Pirates mod from AOE2HD to cd version


Version 2
The game no longer crash;
1- The skiff data was changed from Type 80 Class 51 to type 70 class 3
Inspired on tutorial "Sea Buildings at Fishing Ship" and Portuguese 2.1 Mod and Perfect Expansion Mod (included on empires2_x1_p1.dat if you're interested on study)
2- The Mine built in shanty was removed and now the own shanty produces gold (destroyed when depleted). inspired on Age of Galactica (house) and portuguese 2.1 (bank)(included on empires2_x1_p1.dat if you're interested on study)
3- The Farm was changed at class and resource type

A lot of things were removed till i found the bug (and somethings i didn't like) so if you want the original mod without crash is probably possible to achieve if you replace the changes above (1, 2 and 3).

Daniel Pereira for the inspiration taken on Portuguese 2.1 mod
Gallas for the inspiration taken on Age of Galactica
xXSpecialsoulXx for the inspiration taken on Age of Perfect Expansion
Water graphics are from All Roads Leads to Rome mod
Realistic Snow Patch made by Admiral Loki
Fortified wooden wall from Forgotten Empires
Added Galapagos Islands made by JustAnotherAger (Map Stylle > custom option)
Added Bermuda Triangle made by ropeart (Map Stylle > custom option)

Interesting things
Fishing ships carry units, so do almost all ships
Some ships can carry units and atack
Outpost create a mounted unit that kidnap enemy villager and convert them when come to Town Center
You will be able to "respawmn" trees, gold and stone

Folder v1 (version 1) included in case you want to test/mod

I'll keep on modding for myself cause i don't want to disturb the original creator, so don't expect news releases, i just wanted to release a stable version (without crashes) on AOKHeavens

gag2000 you have permissions from the authors to reupload the files under your name ?
dracoix Credit is given where credit is due. I see no problems giving you permission for the data/mechanic changes. If the the graphics were backported to the DRS files, Ozhara has credit to the textures and some of the blends as I used many of them. gagman has some mechanical credit as I used some of concepts & exploits that he researched.

Thanks for undestanding, i just wanted to play your mod on cd version and when i manged to do it, just shared here.
I updated the credit list adding the one from your steam page.

Don't want to double post here, just want to call the attention of the persons that downloaded the first version that the version 2 is available now and that it doens't crash. Have fun with this mod :p
