In my opinion, Octavia1 is a too easy scenario. Your only opponent almost only have militias, and I finished it with almost only the men I had in the beginning. Youself starts in Castle Age and your opponents in Dark Age. If you can attack fast, they won't have a chance. The map design is good, however, and the fact that alliances are a bit blurry makes it a bit confusing, and more challanging. If and when a campaign with this sceario included is released, I hope that it will be harder!

This scenario presents the "Good in one area, bad in another" type of design. It was obvious that the author put a lot of effort into the map design, which was complete with roads, forage bushes, elevation, bridges, etc, you get the idea. But this scenario totally lacks in difficulty. The objectives say that you, purple, have to destroy your enemies. It also says to try to get the relics. Well, I saw that this scenario did not need any resource-gathering of any kind because you started off with a spearman, 2 skirmishers, and a hero (bombard cannon). The enemy contained of a few villagers and a handful of militias. So you see how easy it was. This scenario could be better if it had triggers, good instructions, and a challenge. It could even be used as a map design template for those learning scenario builders out there.
