This AI's difficulty level is roughly halfway between the Original AI and the HD AI.
I started writing this about ten years ago, back when I was sixteen, but then put the game aside. After a long hiatus, I've recently started improving it again - by leaps and bounds. Whereas before I lacked internet access, now I can test him against other AIs online to make him better than before.
Many AIs are all about one particular strategy: Gothic boom, for instance, or a Spanish fast-imperial. Gandalf is dynamic and will attempt to adapt to the enemy. He can use any civilization (including the newer ones) and can play on most maps. He's best at Death Match, though quite good at Random Map as well.

Note: This AI has absolutely nothing to do with Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. I just like Gandalf.
Thank you for providing a competitive AI. This AI has good potentials & I'm sure can do still better. Congratulation for defeating other AI like resonanceBot (Medium difficulty because ResonanceBot cheats on Hard/Hardest & it took 2 hrs). I found some of unusual things as follows:
1. why are you using Petard ? which is a waste unit in a open map like Arabia
2. When unit is targeted to some building or a place on the map, the AI doesn't stop & fight the enemy who interrupted them while they are moving to a point like other AI do.
3. Monks just rush in & want to convert whatever they see & dont care about towers & enemy units at all. They will be pretty much free-kill for enemy
