So it finally has come to this...

After literally years - maybe even a decade of enjoying the impressive work of the many wonderful people on this site I'm proud to present my very first custom campaign.

==Developement History==
Technically the entire idea isn't all that new. Back in my teens I already had most of the story planed out and I had already made a custom campaign with some five scenarios. However they were all lost in a crash - which in retrospect was lucky since they were pieces of shit. The main character was an overpowered shameless self insertion that was buffed to such a ridiculous extent that he could simply wipe out the entire enemy army all alone. I think the map design was kinda decent but still I've since learned a lot more about triggers and map design and also general playability.
Around Christmas of 2015 I had literally nothing to do and so I got the idea of reviving this project. The story changed a bit of course but overall it's still the same basic tale. I hope you enjoy this first chapter and maybe some day I might (or might not) have the second chapter for you. [Everybody always says they are gonna make more scenarios but usually the don't ;)]

The story is set in Tolkien's universe. In a distant future after the ringwar in a land far away from Middle-earth which is called Dark Land or Southland (real in-universe continent actually). In this land which was untouched by the war of the ring and is detached from all events in Middle-earth a mighty human kingdom has arisen. The people live in relative prosperity and isolation. Some elvish settlements exist in the kingdom, which is largely covered by forests, but even they know the ring war as nothing but a legend from a faraway land.
The current king has grown old and has become weary of the monotony of his homeland. He dreams of the mysteries of distand shores and he finds himself again and again drawn towards the sea. On the 22nd birthday of his eldest son he declares him his heir and makes plans to build a fleet and finally explore the faraway lands he had always dreamt to see.
After two years of preparations he finally puts to sea with a contingent of the finest soldiers of the realm. His son is left behind to rule in his stead. After sailing towards the setting sun for several weeks they reach a land that is unlike anything they have ever seen or heard of - this is where the scenario begins.

· Exactly 100 triggers are included in this scenario (although #100 will brobably never be used ;) ).

· Also please excuse any elvish slips that might have happened in the scenario - I'm not a native speaker ;)

· If you should encounter any errors or glitches, please tell me and I will try my best to fix them.

· Tested on "The Conquerors v1.0c"

· EDIT: Due to me being a dork, this is submitted as a "Single Player Scenario" while the file contained in the downloadable zip is actually, technically a campaign.

Rewaider Looks interesting! However I couldn't play the scenario properly because ER5001 showed up... It's an error related to a "gatherer percentage" line from some AI.
Map design has plenty of room for improvement (way too many dull "dirt 1" areas - needs more terrain mixing and placement of GAIA objects), even though the overall layout of the cities is pretty decent.

What version did you play with? I looked at this back when it first appeared and dont recall such errors
