Help King Edward of England regain lost lands in France by establishing a foothold, taking major cities, and at last sacking Paris. It's not a very long campaign, but fun. It may be a little too easy for some of you expert players,
but play it on hardest for a good challenge. Sorry there's no pictures, but I'm a terrible artist. Have fun
This campaign was, for the most part, poorly authored. The designer had the right idea, however I feel he should have extended what he had done to a greater level.
All but one of the maps are randomly generated, and the one that isn't is just a winding path surrounded by forests. The second last scenario gives you an overwhelming amount of gold and stone, and several more-than-dependable resource nodes next to your town center.
The author states his reason for not having instruction maps is "because he cannot draw", however I feel a few dots and letters here and there would have allowed those who know nothing of this war a better grasp of what was going on.
The scenario instructions were satisfactory, providing minimal but well-written information and straight-to-the-point objectives. The author also went to the trouble of filling in the history section, showing that he did take the time to research the actual war.
The campaign is not really creative, you could almost call the fact that you have to keep a hero alive in each game stupid. Overall, I would give this campaign a 1.5/5 rating. This was either the author's first campaign, or he just got really lazy really fast. Download it if you want to, but it's hardly worth the 2 minutes you will have to wait.
