3 → Select the mod or the fix you want and click Install to apply or click Uninstall
to remove.

(IMPORTANT : This fix [WideScreen] requires a screen aspect ratio of 100% or a screen DPI of 96)
- Records crashs (Multiplayer records).
- Delayed start of the game and the use of 50% of the processor force for nothing (Windows7 and Vista).

Well I don't know much about this but it is just some CMD commands in BatchScript, nothing weired about it. You know sometimes Avast saying things have no sense, that is why I don't use it for this reason.
By the way i found a way for adding overlay in aok interface civs, it is really great.

Does this work with AOE 2 HD in steam? I have some problems like Win7 delayed start and 50% use of processor

The delay fix is not related to game u use, you need just to have AOE II Game so you can get access to the fix and then just apply it.
Option number 15 can do that. (If it does not work, you can do manually).

It Works with normal non HD versions, like The Age of Kings or The Conquerors.
You can see Version Details up of screenshot.
If you do not want to bother yourself downloading and installing it, you can check out this : http://bit.ly/2NfcjYO
Just do not forget it is Batch file so run it as admin to make sure changes applied successfully.
