ROMAN GENERAL 4238'S ORIGINAL SUMMARY:
This mod replaces the large pavilion with a villager on a cross. It goes well with RaW.

In 2001, Roman General 4238 designed the "Crucified man(cross)" Mod for the original CD

For my conversion process, I used Vardamir's Genie Converter to convert the Mod's AKX file
to work on AOK:HD on Steam. I am providing this Mod conversion as a courtesy to Heaven Games' other users.
I made the conversion because this Mod would greatly improve John_G's "ACSC07 Jesus in Gethsemane" scenario in the Blacksmith. I added the Cross units to that Scenario and then submitted the Modded Scenario as "Jesus in Gethsemane Version 2".
This converted Mod should work even with the AOK HD's DLCs turned on, but it has not been tested for the Original CD or the Definitive Edition.
Copy the entire folder, which is named "Cross-AOKHD" and is found in the downloaded .Zip file, and paste that folder directly in your Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\mods folder.
This is the same directory path where any other mods that you've subscribed to on STEAM can be found, and so you will be placing your "Cross-AOKHD" folder right next to it. It should then show up as an "unpublished" Mod.
In order to use the Mod's units, open your Map/Scenario Editor and go to Objects in your title bar menu. Pick the Player whom the cross unit will belong to and then pick the highest-listed "pavillion" unit, and it should show up as the cross.
More specifically, there are three pavilion objects listed in a row in the Editor's "Objects > Other" menu. I don't remember for certain if the Cross unit is always switched with the highest pavilion listed. You might need to try the other two pavilion objects listed. When I use the Designer's original AOE2 (CD) version of this Mod, the Cross unit switches with the third (ie. bottom) Pavilion object in the list.
