Sorry but this sort of scenario is just plain annoying. The author has just gone wild with placing units. I think I started with close to 500 and the enemy had a heap too. You basically have to invade another lad with all you existing troops (you also have about 20,000 of each resource).
The tedious lugging of troops via the transports to the other land, the huge battles that take place with a very predictable outcome (the AI has no economy) leave me a bit cold.
Now I know this is probably the authors first go but you must make something that I can’t just do on the editor myself. My 7 year old does this, he places a heap of his units on one side of the map and a heap but lesser number of enemy on the other side of the map and then charges across to watch the carnage. Even he is starting to get bored with this style of play. I urge you to use your time on the editor to make something in some way interesting!
BTW I must commend you on a very nice history section (if you could have made the gameplay follow that you might have been on a winner)
