This scenario is so bad it is laughable! It pits William Wallace vs. Charles VI of France. The battle of Bannockburn took place in 1314, so Wallace had been dead for 10 years when it occured. And Lord only knows what Charles VI (1380-1422) is doing here.
At the real Battle of Bannockburn, King Robert the Bruce defeated Edward II (of England), winning Scottish independence for the next 400 years. I just submitted a historically accurate scenario of this battle to The Blacksmith (on 1/31/00). Check it out if you want to know what really happened.
To the author: please rename this scenario to indicate it is a fantasy. The memory of Robert the Bruce and the Battle of Bannockburn is cherished by those of us with Scottish ancestry, and if you are too lazy to pick up a book, then don't name your scenarios after historical battles.
