In this scenario you play Cyrus the Great, in command of the combined Median and Persian forces. It is set on the night of October 5th, 539 B.C.E. Your goal is to take the city of Babylon, thus crushing the thought-to-be undefeatable Babylonian Empire.

Playabilty-3: This scenario was suprisingly playable, although it was so short, it was layed out in a good and proffesional manner with good knowledge of triggers and 1 bug of what I saw.
The tasks were interesting and enjoyable to complete. The author realy knows how to lay out a scenario and all the triggers worked fine. The only bug was that you could get into the city without destoying the eastern gate (First objective) through a sall gap where the wall meets the river, a minor bug, but if that gap is found, the rest of the scenario is void. The other thing was it was TOO SHORT, there were only a few triggers and I'm sure there could have been more and if there were more triggers, this would easily be in the "Best of AoK".
Balance-4: The balance was very good. It was hard but winnable and challenging. You had to do a fair bit of work to win the scenario and it was never easy. Some parts were just walking around and some parts were fighting, and offered a good all round performance for the player, experienced or not experienced. How ever it may be little on the easy side for the average player, which prevented it from getting a very impressive 5, although that's just my opinion :).
Creativity-3: There was nothing really new or revolutionory about this scenario, but because Bablyon was few used idea for scenarios, it deserved a 3 at lease, credit to the author for that idea :). Also the campaign had a variety of gameplay, but there was not enough creativity overall to get this a score of 4 or higher.
Map design-3: Maybe the down point of the scenario, the map design was very much a random map, but was better than than an ordinary random map but not enough to get a score of 4. There were signs that the author could be a great map designer soon, and I sure we will one day see a real nice map from Red Monk. The map realy lacked effort and was not taken seriously enough, maybe the should spend a bit more time on making maps in the future :-).
Story/instructions-3: The scenario had very brief instructions and a shallow if any story at all, but there
were some instuructions and they were enough for the scenario and were spelled and good puncuation was used.
Enjoyable to play
Never used before idea
Good reply value
Not very creative game-play
Lack of effort in map...
More effort in map and gameplay
More creativity needed
Needs to be longer
A little harder
A short but enjoyable scenario with breif instructions and an average map. Worth a DOWNLOAD if you want a "quickie".
