This was fun. There were instructions, goals, and things that happened (via triggers) throughout the game. There were plenty of places to go wrong, and rabbit trails to follow that led nowhere. But if you remained focused, and patiently looked around, you could win.

Obviously our author does not speak/write English as a first language. That's fine -- just get someone to help you with spelling and punctuation and things. It's not a big deal, especially considering the crap that most native speakers write and try to pretend is English! Just a minor annoyance, a slight distraction.

There is a bit of a story, and I really did enjoy the map. This isn't a building game. I generally do enjoy building games more than strictly exploration and set-piece games. It was fun anyway.

The enemy had an annoying habit of asking me to give him tribute to become my ally. Having no resources, and no hope of getting any, this was a confusing thing. I later understood _why_ this was the case (or at least I think I understood why the author did it this way).

The exchange with the neutrals is a bit obscure -- maybe it should be made clearer what they want, and how to give it to them? Author: how about a little fix here? Maybe you could add a trigger or two upon meeting the neutrals whose help you need, and have them tell you a few things about what they want from you before they'll join up.

I enjoyed the map, and the ambush. It was even a bit fun
watching the longboats and viking outfits in what appeared to be absolutely the wrong place!

It may not be a game you'll play over and over, but it is sure worth one time.
