My first impressions were not all that good. It was a custom map but other than being functional to the scenario's intent it was no better than a random map. The story and instructions were weak with no bitmap and the player started with lots of resources and about 8 Paladins.
I was expecting a beautiful park with deer and the occasional boar; what I got was a bunch of wolves, mean wolves. But it just got better and better from there. The other four civilizations also start with lots of resources. You knock out two civ's are gaining on the third to find the fourth eating you alive (that is when you aren't being bitten by wolves). The playability was excellent, although I personally could have done with fewer wolves (man they were annoying - grin) and the balance showed that this had been play tested more than a few times to get it right. What you get right at the start is just what you need.
It won't likely score well because of it lacks the "niceties" but it plays very well; it is fun, challenging, beatable and certainly worthy of a download.
