It's about Arthur and his quest to become king arthur.

I will mae the second one if this one gets 500 downloads.

Some things in life have a lot of potential, but are spoiled by things that could be easily fixed. I regret to say "Arther's Quest" is one of them.

The story/instructions were, simply put, horrid. The instructions were nonexistant, the hints mostly useless and poorly written. Here is an excerpt, I think it speaks for itself:

*Be carfull on every road the sherif's scouts camp along them.

*Use your extra men when you find them Robin will tell you where to go.

*If your health is low travel to unseen places there are 3 .

*Thats all.

The Map Design, however, was a consolation somewhat. There was not one tile on the map that did not have trees, or flowers, or both. IMHO it was a tad overdone, but the effort shows, despite the surprisingly straight paths and the rivers that begin and end in mid-map.

Playability was okay. Something that was worth a mention was that I accidentally skipped meeting Robin Hood the first time I played the scenario... so I didn't know how to continue.

More playability problems: I'm really nit-picky when it comes to dialogue messages and plot. Spelling and grammar mistakes are my biggest pet-peeve when it comes to scenario design... and I don't recall one (1) dialogue message in "Arther's Quest" (Just look at the title!) that didn't have at least one spelling or grammar mistake.

Balance was also average, leaning strongly towards "too easy"... and keep in mind I'm not very good at AoK. Although one can lose in some parts throughout the scenario, those parts are very rare.

...and here's the big catch: Creativity. I simply didn't feel the scenario was creative enough, distinct enough from other RPGs in the Blacksmith. Technically, the Review System Description, page 3 describes the following:

The farther a player gets from a random-style scenario, the better the creativity score.

But as I feel it is ridiculous to judge a scenario on terms of a random map, and that comparison to scenarios of the same kind is much more appropriate, there's nothing really new about "Arther's Quest". The same formula; One unit (usually at the very top corner of the map), in an allied town, with 'click=talk' people, etc. etc....

In conclusion, perhaps you'll like "Arther's Quest" if you just can't get enough of RPG's. Or have never played one. But other than that, I'm afraid it's nothing to write home about.
