Teotihuacan is a mix of B&D and FF; you have the city of Teotihuacan under your command, your objective 200 kills and 500’000 of wood, stone, gold and food.
PLAYABILITY: Your enemies wait, divided in four groups, without a chance and never attack. While the 200 kills are too easy to achieve, to gather 500’000 resources is the contrary of what I consider a fun game play. 1
BALANCE: I played the scenario on hard, challenge is none existent, you receive 26 relics next to a couple of monasteries and your enemies have no economy. Player 6 got a town centre and villagers, but the character is immobile units and the effect to place a lumber camp failed with the location set too near to the edge of the forest. 1
CREATIVITY: This is as bad as it can get there is nothing to mention. 1
MAP DESIGN: Thick forest, grass 1 and the city of Teotihuacan, designed square, with one road terrain, clustered buildings, a straight canal, and a lot of gold and stone. The city, to which utility 127 served as blue print showed some effort. 2-
STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: There was no story, you get the above objectives, yes 500’000 (in words, five hundred thousand) of each resource; I did not add a zero by accident. ;-) 2-
OVERALL: Teotihuacan is a scenario for players that never won the William Wallace learning campaign.
OBSERVATION: This scenario multiplies the objective of Utility 127 by 100 and has an inferior map.
SUGGESTIONS: The purpose of a utility is the use by designers, still some more own ideas than to add some units and a 200 kills objective are necessary for a good scenario. For more ideas, the designer should play some other and better-rated designs.
IN CLOSING: The above is not a recommendation to download.
