Well, it may have been a great idea if it wasn't an exact (nearabout) copy of the 'migration'(I think) mplayer map! Apart from that, Try to 'feather' the edges of your forests and coasts etc.(check out the 'design articles' bit at the top of the page) 'cos right now, it you can see that you used 'small' brush, as all the areas are square or something approaching square. Also, you've used dirt 1 for paths, this is NOT reccommended, try dirt 3 of grass 2. Another downfall is the fact that far too much of the map is water. This is appropriate for one with purley ship - ship or an adventure scn, but just makes the map look lazy and small. Like I said above, check out the design articles above, and keep trying!
