Story:
------------------------------------------------------------ This is a tale of a man by the name of William Wallace. A simple man who lives in a small quiet village. He hopes to life and die a peaceful, pure life in his hometown of Karsh.
However, five years ago that dream was interfered with by an offer to help defend the city of Alexandria. The day he decided to accept that offer was the day his life would change forever. Whether it would be for the better or for the worse is yet to be determined?
Since then he has been going to his best friend Dane's hut to train and become useful in battle. In the meantime, he is protecting his own town from merciless thieves who preyed on the people of Karsh.
Finally, the day had come to see whether he would get accepted to Alexandria or not. And this is where you come in...

"Demon Within" is a story about the battle between good and evil that rages inside every man....or at least, it's supposed to be. But lack of clarity and poor Map Design ruin what would have otherwise been a good scenario.

Playability:
This scenario is fun to play. However, in several places, you have to just walk from one place to another- the easiest way to bore a player/reviewer. Also, very few trigger tricks.

Balance:
Not very well balanced.......one thing I noticed is that the designer hasn't really put much thought into how many troops to give you (or the enemy) or what kind of troops.

Creativity:
Apart from the storyline, this scenario is completely devoid of any originality or creativity.

Map Design:
Poor. Not much effort put into it. The main area where he needs improvement.

Story/Instructions:
The story was, in my opinion, very good. I wanted to give it a 4.
However, it is definitely lacking in clarity, and more importantly, it's full of SPELLING MISTAKES!

On the whole, this is a not a bad scenario, in spite of the low rating I gave it. The designer definitely shows potential (Don't you hate that word?). The three areas where he needs HUGE improvement are:
1)Map Design
2)Checking his spelling and grammar. (First impression.....)
3)Using more (trigger) tricks

I wouldn't really recommend this scenario, but keep an eye out for the designer.
