Version: The Conquerors
Style: Fixed Force
This scenario is based on the battle that Constantine the Great fought outside Rome for control of the western Roman empire, and on his conversion to Christianity. A great improvement over my first work, the Sack of Rome. Enjoy!

This scenario, the Battle of Milivian Bridge, is a below average scenario. As always, the reasons will be listed below.

The playability was not absolutley horrible, but it hardly qualifies as even average. You get units simply by showing up, and the battle scene usually don't last very long. There is no ambushes or surprises of any kind, which is kinda dull. However, some texts and playtesting got the mark to a 2.

The balance was ok. The final battle was reasonably challenging, although it lagged.

There was no creativity, since there was no side-quests, trigger tricks or even the basic change ownership trigger. The only thing in there were your march to the bridge and fight till everybody's dead, which is not creative at all.

The map design was poor, since there were large areas of grass and the roads looked horribly unrealistic.

There was no story that I know of, however there were some
instructions. However, the instructions didn't tell me that I can get troops from the camps. So a 2 will be given.

+ Points

- ok balance

- Points

- Lack of creativity
- Boring gameplay
- Poor map design

Final Thoughts: Well this is definitely not one of the more impressive scenarios I have seen, but as I always say, scenario design takes more effort than skill and talent. So, I hope that the author will improve in the future.
