This is an update to Italian River Siege. It offers improved triggers and graphics, better reinforcements system, hero units, new objectives, totally changed city of Florence and other new features.
You no longer need to gather resources, instead you gain gold with kills and razings. You can use these "experience points" to order four types of reinforcements: Standard(archers, infantry, knights), Elite (Teutonic Knights), Siege (onagers, rams and scorpions) and Artillery (Bombard Cannons and Hand Cannoneers).
The speed at which the villagers accumulate resources is not adequate to get the reinforcements in time to fight the Yellow guys, so it's a rout every time.
There are not adequate instructions to maneuver on the map to make intuitive sense of where to go first and what strategy to use.
Edit: I take it all back. A few false starts enabled me to find the hidden things on the map that are crucial to the scenario. One suggestion: I don't think it is too much of a 'giveaway' to give a general idea where the other potential allies are ahead of time, and it would be a very good idea to explain that the reinforcements are not one-time. That is what confused me the first few times I played: I thought I had one shot at each.
Other than the logistics confusions - this was a very challenging and excellent scenario to play!!

I cannot rate it.It's probably the best campaign i ever played. The second scenario is what i couldn't understand. In the first scenario it could be a good idea to barracks and stables in order to gain reinforsements.
