This is my first upload. In this scenario you have to save an island.
That may sound dull but download it anyway. I think you'll like this

As soon as I downloaded this scenario, I saw the two .avi files attached, and thought: "Wow! Someone finally went out and made their own movie files!"

Second thought: "Wait a minute, they're only 2 seconds long!"

Third thought: "Oh, well."

As soon as I got past the instruction screen, I waited for the .avi to play. Instead, I got this message: "Correct drivers not installed". No way am I going to install video drivers for a scenario. Eh, move on.


It started out with 6 villagers and Kitabatake. The goals were to find a relic, and destroy The Tower. My starting position was on the right side of the screen, the relic was in the middle, and the tower was on the left side. I set out with a monk by my side, and it soon became apparent that the right side was a peninsula.I looked along the entire shore for some bridge or dock, but I was apparently on one island, and the relic and Tower were on another. Then I lost because I spent too much time. Annoyed, I found a river the next time around, which had a Transport on the side. I can cross over to the other island! Only one problem-the transport was an allied transport. Which ment that I could bring units on, but not able to control it. Which ment I was stuck there. Which ment that I couldn't finish the scenario. The only reason why it got a one was because I had a little bit of fun exploring.


There aren't any enemies. Correction, The Tower that you are supposed to beat, and a tower guarding the relic. One problem-They were "Accursed Tower" and "Tower of the Flies" respectively. Ouch-by the time I would have gotten the resources to build Onagers to defeat them, time would have run out. But basically, there's no enemies. Not a lot of balance. (Keep in mind I'm rating the amount that I played.)


For lack of other material, I'll say that the town design was creative. What wasn't, was the other 2 player's names. "The Enemy". "Town".


Better here, but it's basically: A)Grass B)Desert C)Oak Forest/Palm Forest. "Town" seems to have randomly built houses and mills throughout their island. There's the enemies' wonder on your island, (The Hunnic Wonder) which seems to be put down there spontaneously. Speaking of spontaneous, you suddenly gain possesion of a Monastary and Dome of the Rock in the southern, desert region.


This is the best part of the scenario, as you have to meet Friar Tuck and he tells you about the relic you must find. If you bring it back, he'll be able to delay the timer. A magician has contstructed a Tower, and if it isn't destroyed in X amount of time, the island sinks under the sea.

This scenario could have scored MUCH better if the creator had had a simple "Object Visible (Transport)" = "Change ownership player 1" trigger system. Also, the building placement could use work. However, the initial island part had a great atmosphere, and the monastary part was cool. With more work, it could be a 3-scoring scenario.
