Tiberian Sun Demo 1 could have been so much more. It is a nice idea, but it was not well executed.
The idea of playing Tiberian Sun in AoK intrigued me, so I downloaded this. You create units by moving the unit you want to create over a flag, and it is duplicated until you run out of gold. But you cannot run out of gold. Your ally (harvester) has lots of relics and tributes gold to you on end. Also, at 60 seconds you win, because the author used a wrong trigger. Instead of Own Fewer Objects, he used Objects in Area=0. This leads to a short and pointless game, although it is easily fixed.
Unlimited amounts of hand cannoneers against 200 or so Iron Boars? Simple. There is also a blood style system of kills=more units available, but you cannot play long enough to put it into effect. So, a 1.
As I said before, the idea of a Tiberian Sun game in AoK has not been done before to my knowledge. I think this is a good idea, and I like seeing it implemented. other than that, though, there is not much that stands out in this scenario, so, a 3.
Map Design: 2
The map is more or less a great expanse of grass with three towns, some water, and your base. There is no variety, but the towns are fairly well designed, so, a 2.
There is no introductory story, no hints, no scouts, not even an objective. Also, the in-gaem instructions are nigh-on impossible to understand. I cannot find a redeeming point here. There is not even a 'Congratulations, you won' message at the end. A deserved 1.
In conclusion, I do not recommend you download this until the author varies the map design a lot more, and irons out the easily-fixed bugs. If it is updated, I will look out for it.
