This scenario is about what could have happened if gengis khan had decided to conquer japan. This is my first scenario and I don't know if I did everything right. Please if you find anything wrong with it or have suggestions please tell me. oh and when i start it for some reason mine stays on lock teams, i don't know if anyone elses will do that but just to be safe turn it off. Thank-you
This scenario was nothing out of the ordinary at all. You begin in the dark age already with a very large army, and everything you will need for your economy, making the scenario boring.
Playability & Balance
The Koreans, your first enemy, are easily conqoured, and they add to your already well developed economy. The Chinese, however are very difficult to defeat, I couldn't do it. They seem to rebuild everything and more of what you destroy before you can send another attacking force. Compared to the Japanese, the Chinese are just a remote town, with a large wall. In order to get to the Japanese, you will need transports. Two of these can be obtained by taking over korea, however by the time you get to the Imperial Age the Japanese destroy them with turtle boats, making the game impossible to beat.
Creativity $ Map Design
There is nothing creative at all about the game. It is combination of all soups in the world, condensed into a bland mixture. The map is very boring having little eye candy (and Im not that big on eye candy) and no variation in grass. China's only forests are bambo, and korea is made up of jungle.
Story / Instructions
Not much of a story, and very little instructions in this scenario. For some reason player 3 says "YAAA!!!" every 5 minutes. Why?
I would not recommend downloading this scenario. It is a good start for a begining scenario designer, but it is far from beging a good scenario.
