Version: Age of Kings
Style: Fixed Force
This is my first scenario. I feel that it is reasonably fun and entertaining. This is based on the Bible's account of Joshua's "siege" of Jericho. This scenario will most likely be for beginners, but experienced players will also need to play it. I will enjoy your comments so I can better my scenarios. This is very small! so it won't break anyones back to download! Just extract it to the scenario folder located in the Age of Empires folder under Microsoft Games

Introduction
This scenario has most ends tied down, however there are a few problems I can find with it. Basicly it's a pretty short and to the point game. It has a few spots of interest, but not as many as I would have like to have seen.

Playability & Balance
The game was playable with most objectives clearly defined. It would have been nice to see the objectives on the objective menu. There are a few problems that a found, but nothing major. If you were only to play the scenario one time, you wouldn't even notice them. Game balance was a bit on the hard side. I learned the hard way that you cant just charge into Jericho, you need to get monks, and keep your army outside Jericho. Then send in your cavalry and draw the enemy army out a few units at a time, and if it's worth the effort go ahead and convert some of them.

Creativity & Map Design
I have never seen a scenario based on The Bible, and I thought it was interesting to play a game about biblical war. Most scenario designers wouldn't think of The Bible as a source for an action packed battle. I was glad to see that the map was filled in completly with no barron fields of grass, or desert in this case, however the sand hills and scattered palm forests become extremly repetative.

Story / Instructions
It would have been nice to see the objectives in the objective menu, and the charators speaking tended to move a bit fast and often times could be triggered in the wrong order.

Conclusion
A decent scenario, that may be worth your download if you are interested in biblical history. I would definatly incourage the author to continue making scenarios.
