This scenario pits you as the Vikings against the Japanese, which has you start off with three villagers, a scout (I think), one of each kind of building, and a wall around your base (as well as a Sea Wall and Sea Gate around you dock for protection from the Japanese) (the computer gets almost the same things, but he doesn\'t get the sea walls and sea gates (I was too lazy to change the terrain so that the computer could have sea walls and sea gates)).
"Island Fortress 1" is basically an average random map game against the standard computer AI.
Playability: This scenario is a islands random map with two fortresses on it. It requires no thinking to play and requires no skill except basic game knowledge and knowledge of the standard AI. My advice to the author is to include a user made AI with this scenario.
Balance: While a player who has only just installed AoK might have some difficulty with this scenario, any other player will find this scenario quite easy. I again suggest that the author add a better AI to spice things up a little.
Creativity: This scenario is a random map with two forts on it. Nothing even close to being creative. My advice to the author is to play other people's scenarios and try to include some of their features in his scenario (with the original authors consent).
Map Design: This map was created using the 'Create Map' feature in the editor. The only thing worse would be to have a blank map with two forts on it. If the author would add some eye candy, this score would go up. I suggest going to the SCN Punk website and looking up Scn Design Articles.
Story/Instructions: There is no story, but there is one objective, so a two for this category. I suggest that the author try and come up with a little story about why the two cities are fighting each other. Anything would have been nice.
